Michelle combines her many years of Big Law experience with over a decade in public relations and brand development to craft powerful marketing strategies for law firms. A University of Virginia School of Law graduate, she brings a deep understanding of the legal industry and the expertise to elevate firms' brands and market presence. Her ability to grasp a client’s practice quickly—paired with strategic marketing and PR expertise—enables her to deploy the right strategies to attract and convert high-value clients, driving firm growth.

Michelle knows how to work with clients and truly hear and understand their needs. As an attorney, she specialized in internal investigations. In 2020, she took those interviewing skills on the road, driving 12,000 miles all over the U.S. during the pandemic and interviewing hundreds of people. The University of North Carolina and Duke turned those stories into a book.

Now, as one of the leaders at Esquire Digital, Michelle spends her days listening closely to our clients, asking questions so she can really understand their goals and the areas of practice they want to promote. She then works with the clients to develop a plan to use the firm’s website content (text, videos, photos, and graphics) along with the firm’s social media channels, speaking opportunities, and press opportunities to achieve those goals.

Michelle excels in getting media coverage for our clients. Some of her media scores in 2024 included local broadcast news stations (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC), legal trade publications (Bloomberg Law, Law360, Law.com, Legal Intelligencer, NY Law Journal, NJ Law Journal), national news outlets (Forbes, PEOPLE, Daily Mail, TMZ, Page Six, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Finance), regional newspapers (Philadelphia Tribune, Philly Voice, Daily News, Orange County Register), and trade-specific publications regarding specific cases (Supermarket News, Grocery Dive, Bike Magazine).

When Michelle is asked why she switched from law to PR, this is her answer: “They are the same thing. It’s all about persuasive advocacy, but to different audiences and along different timeframes. I like to win every day, and complex legal cases often take years.”
